Being a servant to Christ  qualifies us to be called friends of Jesus. 

Paul, in his letter to the Corinthians, addresses the fact that they should embrace their differences through serving one another. 

The way that they do this is through listening to one another (loving relationship), pointing each other to the Father (radical discipleship), and being part of God's redemptive plan (organic evangalism).
